Ho scaricato lapp da poco ma già da subito ho notato che molto semplice da usare
La app è utile ma ritengo che alcune volte non è perfettamente sincronizzata con la parte web. Inoltre spesso fatico a rispondere alle domande dellospite perché non vedo la sua mai se rispondo! Non è possibile gestire le risposte mó di chat?
Non funziona il login, ci mette una vita ad aggiornare i messaggi. Molto meglio usare il sito web
App semplice e funzionale, indispensabile per gestire le proprietà in movimento

App buona, su iphone6 gira bene. Si possono molto migliorare grafica e duttilitá. Magari aggiungere un traduttore x aiutare su alcune parole.
Trovo questa app facile da usare ed intuitiva, mi sono trovato subito bene, ritengo sia superiore ad altre che riguardano siti simili.
Il preventivo non accetta le modifiche e non tutte le sezioni del preventivo sono modificabili
Non segnala larrivo di una mail. Da quando la uso rispondo alle richieste dopo molte ore perché non avverte (ne visivamente ne sonoramente) sul ricevimento di un messaggio. E con le risposte in ritardo si ricevono recensioni negative. LApp precedente avvisava. Come fanno tutte quelle con messaggistica. A cosa serva un App se non facilita?
Usavo quella vecchia e questa ha ancora qualche piccolo problema. Per esempio non si riesce a cambiare il prezzo sulle prenotazioni e non si può fare il copia incolla dai messaggi.
Molto funzionale, solo che spesso non funziona laggiornamento del calendario.

Constant - several a month
I don’t know what are they doing, but every time I try to open this app, it says that updates are needed, and as the result I don’t get any notifications. Please developers, stop doing this. I always miss notifications because your constant updates and also other people are saying that they never get any notifications. Why is this app so unstable and most important thing to get notifications and it is always down and always requires an update. Please stop. Look how good Airbnb app is. It is reliable and you can count on getting notifications unlike this app.
I experience so many issues on this app, whether it’s trying to rate my guests, or trying to communicate with my guests. The app has so many issues and it seems that customer support doesn’t take me serious. It’s a very hard app to navigate. Not user friendly at all and VRBO always takes a ridiculous amount from your host payout. Crazy amount of fee’s. I hate to be that guy, but Airbnb app is way better. More user friendly, and rarely ever has issues with the app
As a host, I really don’t recommend this app. I have had so many guests confused with why they were charged a $1500 security deposit on a hundred dollar room. Vrbo does weird things with holding people’s money even when they don’t book a room and weird policies. And the amount of fees they keep for themselves is ridiculous. I believe Vrbo connects people from other booking platforms and brings them to your listings. But that sometimes makes it hard for Vrbo to hold Guest accountable if they are not following his rules.I’m not sure if they are promoting a cheaper booking option but it really is not. I see the fees added on to my $100 room it’s crazy. The reviews on the first side of things are great but on the other side are awful.
Not friendly to use , airbnb is much much better to manage as host . I really can’t make any changes easily .
I, as a host am trying to respond to my customers but the app doesn’t allow the messages to go through. It looks as if it’s sent but never is actually sent.
Why haven’t they updated or changed the app. The user interface is terrible
I can’t believe they even think this is good enough to present to the public the set up process is horrible, the customers service to help is horrible. I honestly just gave up trying to move my properties over because it is such a horrible interface and refuses to get better.
Our property is all inclusive for week long stays. There is no way for owners to add a linen or cleaning fee for shorter stays. If you add it after the booking request comes in, it causes an error wirh the request and the renter can’t pay and neither me or the help desk can delete or fix the problem. Since our rates change throughout the year I can’t even add a dollar amount for a discount - you can only do a percent which doesn’t work when you are trying to get to a specific dollar amount. I have spent hours on the phone with the help desk. They know about the problem but can’t help. I have lost 3 booking just this week because of that. VRBO will penalize owners for everything, but you don’t make the system work so we can make money. Very disappointing.
After several attempts I have given up on hosting my place through VRBO Owner. The app will not let me login. It is recognizing me as having an account through traveling w VRBO so it’s asking me to login w the same username and password. I have made new password after new password. It says wrong password everytime. Moving on. App must need updates.
There’s no way hosts give this app 5-stars. VRBO technology is absolutely archaic. It takes multiple swipes to simply archive messages, date and time stamps in the app are always wrong and their own representatives acknowledge the plethora of technical issues that plague them. They don’t even seem to care that their #1 competitor AirBNB has a user interface that is light years ahead of them and much more user friendly. This app and their website are a disaster.
There are a lot of bugs in this program and when you look for technical support or send in a request or question, you get NO RESPONSE. Which is the most frustrating thing dealing with a company of this size. VRBO fix you customer service!
1) The app doesn’t provide enough info on the review of renters. 2) I have to switch to another app if I want to rent a VRBO property. 3) I can’t charge more for extra guests.
Don’t use
Multiple communication threads with the same person. No alerts that I got a booking request. Guests that don’t have my booking acceptance. AirBnB has a much better communication platform than this junk. This crApp can’t even get basic typing write. Can’t enter a return character. Constantly adds text you don’t want in the middle of typing. Can you please spend some money on competent programs with just a basic understanding about how apps should work? Try calling for help and getting nothing useful from the help. Ask to speak to a manager and the manager is somehow always busy every single time. He’ll always contact you tomorrow, but that never happens. How do you expect to beat you competition with such horrible design and customer service?
I cannot believe how hard it is to use this app and how broken it is all the time. I’ve never experienced an app that makes it this hard to do business. I cannot see my dashboard, I cannot see my calendar, I cannot take any guest action except respond to guest messages that I’m not notified of. I cannot even upload a tax form to allow me to receive payments so VRBO owes us money and I’ve called many times into support and all they can say is the finance team will reach out some day. I’m getting to the point of cancelling existing guest bookings because of how that VRBO has made it to be an owner on their platform. I wish they’d spend a fraction of their add dollars on some more engineers for their product.
Always something wrong with the calendar, bookings, etc. Never ends feel like I have to call in weekly. I love all the other sites so much more.

Vrbo app is hard to navigate. My reservations are not in order of any kind. The dashboard hasn’t shown me any upcoming stays. You can’t click on the reservation on the calendar. You have to go to inbox which then you have to dig to find it.
It’s really sad how bad Vrbo has become. Their messaging is unreliable, I can’t reply to guests on the app half the time. They overbooked me so many times I had to quit using them and had to be an integrated property to solve that. Their system has been completely down for multiple days at a time. They must have gone DEI they really don’t seem to know what they’re doing anymore. Frustrating is not even a good enough description.
When you use this app it feels like you are dealing with a government funded program instead of a for profit tach oriented organization. The app feels like it was programmed by high schoolers. Something as simple as sending a message crashes the app. The user experience is chaotic. Anyone renting short term rentals can attest that after over 10 years since AirbnB came online, both VRBO and Booking should have caught up in technology and user experience. However it seems like there is not intent on getting up to speed. The only differentiation here is that VRBO seems to be more exclusive as far as Hosts. Therefore I advice any hosts to target guests with over 20% higher rates on your nightly rates so that you can 1. Make up for the pain dealing with the app. 2. Filter in some degree , not totally, potential thrashers that will be almost impossible to deal with through VRBO customer service.
750 per year now just to be on the app.
We should be able to simply add days and the software tags on the taxes etc.. it’s very confusion for guests with a flat fee..
The most useless app I’ve used for hosting. Don’t waste your time with VRBO and just use Airbnb.
The app does not work! It doesn’t show you upcoming reservations. The messages aren’t in order. You can’t organize the messages. The notifications don’t come in time. The app looks terrible. Can’t see reviews. Should I go on? This is terrible.
It drives me crazy that the dashboard doesn’t show all upcoming bookings. Then if you try to use the calendar to look at the reservation that doesn’t work either. I go to the inbox to see details of the reservation (pets, # guests). If you’re not paying attention, you’ll combine sentences bc their messaging stinks. Oh and right now my dashboard says I have no guests arriving for 90 days when one is arriving in two days. I really only use the app for messaging on the go, desktop for everything else.
I have this app and there is constant issues with it! Customer service is very slow and the problems with the app is crippling me!!!!
I am working on publishing a new VRBO property listing and there is literally no way to edit it because they are so intent on sending you through the funnel to publish, they don’t let you edit anything that is not before the step that you are on. The app may be OK once you have published your listings but use the web instead for that purpose. (Fast forward to 2025 - vrbo owner is still the most buggy and amateurish app in the App Store. )
I wish it had a calendar like Airbnb that shows all properties on one calendar
It amazes me how bad this app is and how long it’s been bad. I assumed over time they would have made updated to the app to make it more user friendly but no it’s just getting worse. Why is it that we can’t send automated messages? Why does my filter to see booked messages not work? Like this app needs a major upgrade. I hate using it.
Fees have increased to 30%. Just had a booking for $2900, VRBO takes $800 from that. Looking for other owner options
This app is terrible. The vrbo platform itself is pretty unstable, and the app is even worse. I get logged out constantly so guest messages won’t push to my phone, I had a double booking today (no iCal sync issues) and on the same booking every message I sent my current stay guest it was also sent to these people. I don’t even understand how that happens but holy **** what a bad look. Seriously disappointed with VRBO. AirBNB is a far superior platform even though I get a good amount of bookings on VRBO.
There’s currently a glitch in the system whereby occupancy taxes are not displaying correctly on owner’s screens. It’s a system problem that is global and I hope gets fixed asap.
I get random display issues where the information just doesn’t load. I’m unable to see pictures one of my listings and unable to update another. There are random failures that sometimes I can go around on the website, sometimes I have to try a different browser. Really, it shouldn’t be so hard!!!
VRBO should invest more in app development & user experience instead of commercials. There are plenty of users online but the interface is so dated. You should strongly consider allowing owners to request to change confirmed reservations between listings so guests don’t have to cancel then rebook.
App is unreliable leading to missed bookings. Glitchy. Often non functioning. VRBO needs to invest in reliable website and apps technology or sell to a company who can handle the tech side
The system keeps logging me out or won’t let me toggle to owner. I’ve lost rentals because I haven’t been able to accept requests in time. I can’t find a phone number to call and when I use the chat, it’s unhelpful as it’s just bot. Thinking about switching over to Airbnb.
Ever since VRBO was recently purchased, it is completely gone downhill. Definitely not the same company it used to be.
I will not be updating my app due to reviews. I don't want to log in every time I am contacted. What are you doing about identifying a place for local taxes. That choice was removed from "taxes and fees" in Settings It was recommended that I add local taxes to my cleaning fee??? Does not make sense for owner or guest
Only a limited number of features are available through the app, you have to go to the website to manage a property listing.
I’ve been using Vrbo owner for six years and the app has steadily gotten worse over that time. It frequently crashes or will not allow me to load conversations. Sometimes I have to log into the VRBO website using my Internet browser to accomplish things that the app will not allow because it is not working properly. Overall, I’ve been pleased with Vrbo as a way to rent my home, but the app is pretty terrible.
Access denied on this server and so many other errors when trying to use this app. How does this company even compete with competitors. I tell everyone to not book our places through this app because it’s such a pain to owners
The app was better but recently has been very glitchy. Despite reading new notifications they don’t go away. Hard to decipher payments and get gibberish garbled detail on payments. Something happened to make this app useless.
App is slow, VRBO customer service is brainless and notifications don’t come through half the time!

Anyone who host on AirBnB can tell you that VRBO is not serious about being an actual competitor. They’re offering nothing to host, the app is so bad that I can have a guy in India make a better app for $50. They ONLY way they get any customer is by constantly giving 20% vouchers to them and by throwing money at them. Instead of actually improving guests and host experience.. starting from this app. Also, Apple, please check these review. There no way any serious host has given them 5 stars.
Compared to airbnb. The app is limited to what is possible on the app. The calendar tens to be glitchy and can’t change rates accordingly
This app is trash. You can’t complete any transactions and the help desk is just as ineffective. The messages have from customers and guests have a terrible lag. ( it’s not the internet service. Considering guest and I are in two different states) Ive been using it for 2years and I literally dread when guests book through this app. Going Airbnb full time.
